Production Meeting with Quantel. Matt Twyford has agreed to supervise our digital effects alongside Paul and Jane from Quantel. Today we went over the effect shots with Matt and established exactly how we are to shoot them.

Costume meeting with Bea. We've decided to keep the colour palette for the modern scenes to muted, Autumnal colours to provide a better contrast with the period flashbacks. Luke will also incorporate this into his design for the sets.

Gordon Hayman has agreed to become our camera operator. Gordon has worked with Freddie on a number of features (including David Lynch's current film 'The Straight Story') and we're delighted to have his experience on board.

Production Design Meeting with Luke and Peter Lamont. Luke's model of the bedroom set has been very useful to demonstrate the lighting effect we aim to achieve. Peter was also very helpful with some top design tips for Luke and the build of this set. We really appreciate the advice from our executive crew (Peter, Freddie and Maurice) who are able to save us valuable time and money with their experience. It's also fascinating to learn first hand about the making of films like Titanic, Aliens and The World Is Not Enough.

Still chasing Agents with regard to casting. As with other areas of the film we're aiming as high as possible. We draw ever closer to production and we aim to cast a leading British actor in the main roll. Getting the script to the Agent and then through to the actor is eating into our remaining pre production time.

    Contracts prepared.

Production Meeting. No major problems and crewing of the film continues.

Luke presented his model of Sarah's bedroom. The projection of the symbol (that appears throughout the story) through the walls of the set, works very well. We now need to mock up a life size section of the bedroom wall to see how projecting light through various types of wallpaper affects this 'glowing symbol' effect.

Meeting with our Legal Eagle to discuss contracts for the film.

Recce with Freddie and Maurice. Both had no problems with the locations. Jacqui Wetherill, Production Manager, can now book in all lighting and equipment for the shoot.

Maurice once again regaled us with a lifetime of movie anecdotes.

Production meeting with Quantel to discuss the effects shots in the script. The more ambitious of these shots will now be storyboarded and presented to Quantel in a couple of weeks.

Luke Smith, Production Designer, is also preparing a three dimensional model of Sarah's bedroom - which we'll show and discuss with Peter Lamont next week.

Costume design has also been initiated.

Long anecdotal meeting with Freddie and his Gaffer Maurice Gillett. Maurice has agreed to act as Gaffer on Ghosthunter. Subsequently the equipment list has been radically amended.

Maurice will keep the crew amused for hours and we're very pleased to have him on board.
