    Welcome All,

Apologies for the long gap, but here at last is the latest news about all our projects.

    Moth
It's finished! Yes, after a mammoth post production period we completed our 12 and a half minute, 35mm, short film "Moth" at the end of last year. It was an ambitious short film to make, with many complex special effects, but we're finally there and it looks fantastic.

The final leg of post saw the effects being finished and recorded out by CFC whilst the sound design was worked on by Jake Roberts and Barnaby Templar at Fonic. We then had the final mix at the Korda Theatre, Shepperton Studios and it was very rewarding to see everything come together on the big screen. We will be having a cast & crew screening on Thursday 24th Feb in London - if you would like to attend, please drop us an email and we will send you further details nearer the time (subject to availability).

For all the information about "Moth" click here to go to the "Moth" pages of our website, which include production diaries, cast and crew lists, storyboards, effects shots and photos.

    Good Foundations Stage 2
As we mentioned in our last newsletter, we were chosen to participate in Screen South's “Good Foundations” Stage 1 scheme with our feature script "An Ordinary God" by Clifton Stewart. The scheme ended in June 2004 and Good Foundations Stage 2 was launched in September. This continued on where the first stage left off and we were delighted to be chosen to continue on GF2. This invaluable training programme for first time feature producers included segments on Script Development, Marketing, Financing and Pitching. It also gave us the opportunity to meet with industry figures such as Robert Jones (head of the Premier Fund at the Film Council) and Peter Carlton (Head of FilmFour Lab). The workshops have been excellent, demystifying the feature production process and giving us invaluable one-to-one feedback on our own projects. Screen South are one of the regional funding bodies of the Film Council and it is great to have their support behind us and this project.

Film Council Support For Two Feature Projects
A very exciting development is that the Film Council region of Screen East is funding the development of two of our feature scripts. Both "An Ordinary God" and "Single To Southend" (the new title for "Thatcher's Daughter") received funding to work with script editor Tom Strudwick. Both scripts are progressing very well and after all the progress we made with Good Foundations last year, we feel we are in a much stronger position to be entering the feature film market.
