    Welcome All,

It's been a while since our last newsletter, but we've a lot to tell you.

    Moth
Post-production on our second 35mm short film "Moth" was delayed for the last 6 months whilst we waited for the Visual Effects to be completed. However despite the wait we are thrilled with the results. Visual Effects Supervisor Matthew Twyford and our 3D Moth Animator Richard Nelson have painstakingly digitised almost every moth in the film, including a swarm of thousands. They look fantastic and we can't wait to see them projected onto the big screen. We now have to wait until June for the final visual effects shot to be finished and for the effects to be recorded back out to film.

In the meantime we will be pressing on with the sound design and music and we hope to have the neg. cut, grading, sound mix and final print done by mid-summer. It's been a long long process, but it is a very ambitious film to make and the main thing is that we're delighted with the results so far.

You can download some of our effects shots from our website. Click here to go to the "Moth" pages and then follow the link to the Visual Effects. The "Moth" section of our website also includes production diaries and photos.

Film Council Support For A Feature Project
We were recently delighted to be chosen to participate in Screen South's “Good Foundations” scheme with our feature script "An Ordinary God" by Clifton Stewart. The scheme is a 6-12 month producer training scheme, run by experienced industry figures Tom Strudwick and Carl Clifton, which works towards approaching the film finance marketplace with a proposed feature project. The first part of the scheme was on script development and for the second part we went to Lille, France for a workshop covering marketing. The workshops have been excellent so far, demystifying the feature production process and giving us invaluable one-to-one feedback on our own projects. Screen South are one of the regional funding bodies of the Film Council and it is great to have their support behind us and this project.

Amulet Films also received some financial support from Screen South for training.

    Other News
Excellent work continues on another feature script "Thatcher's Daughter", recently renamed "Single To Southend". This comedy is being written by husband and wife writer team Richard and Suki Ahsam. Research and development continues on our other feature projects, including the feature version of "Ghosthunter" and "Dr. William H. Bates" and we continue to develop further new ideas.
