Welcome to our latest newsletter.
Moth
Our second 35mm short film "Moth" has been progressing slowly, but well, in post-production. The edit went very smoothly and we were delighted with our editor Eddie Hamilton's contribution to the film. The music is progressing beautifully with our composer Miguel Mera and Joe Sharpe has finished the striking title design. Killian Fitzgerald and Peter Woolliscroft have also joined us as Sound Designers. So far, so good.
The next step is the numerous visual effects. They will take about 3 months - we have about 40, quite complex, effects shots in Moth which will require a lot of detailed and painstaking work.
We have recently added a Director's, Producer's and Runner's Diary to the "Moth" section of our website. These are an enlightening insight into the making of the film and readers of our book will find them a good follow on from our "Ghosthunter" experiences. The website also has behind-the-scenes photos, cast and crew listings and biographies. Click here to go directly to the "Moth" pages.
Latest News
As well as post-production on "Moth", development continues on our other projects. We have received interest in our feature film script "An Ordinary God" which we are now pursuing. Richard Ahsam continues work on the script of "Thatcher's Daughter", which is progressing well. We have also been hard at work developing a treatment for a feature length "Ghosthunter" which we are very excited about... It's been a very exciting few months. We hope you enjoy reading about it.
Moth
After several months of planning, our second short film "Moth" finally went into principal photography from 17th-22nd February at Shepperton Studios and on location. "Moth" is a very moving drama by our feature film writer Clifton Stewart and starred Julia Ford, Brett Fancy and the incredibly talented Joseph Friend (who is only 8 years old ).The shoot week went very well - it was wonderful to be in production again and we had an excellent cast and crew. Everyone worked extremely hard and the resulting rushes look terrific.
We are immensely grateful to Shepperton Studios, Panavision and Arri Lighting in particular for helping us so generously with this challenging project. After a slight delay, we are now in the process of editing "Moth" with editor Eddie Hamilton. Matt Twyford, our Digital Effects Supervisor, will also start work shortly on the numerous special effects. We have learnt an enormous amount working on "Moth" and can't wait to see the end result. We'll keep you up to date with how post-production progresses.
Our website has production and behind-the-scenes photos, cast and crew listings and biographies and we will be adding a Director's, Producer's and Runner's Diary shortly. Click here to go directly to the "Moth" pages on our website.
