After some absence, welcome to our latest newsletter. We hope you enjoy hearing all our current news.
Moth
In the last couple of months we have been looking into the possibility of producing another short film whilst we continue to develop our feature projects. We were delighted to find an excellent script called "Moth", which was written by Clifton Stewart (who's been writing An Ordinary God for us). "Moth" is a poignant story about a 7 year old boy who develops an obsession with moths in order to escape from his unhappy life.
Once again, we have picked a very ambitious project with many challenges; including several complex special effects and finding a talented 7 year old to play the main role. However we are optimistic and hope that "Moth" will be a worthy follow-up to "Ghosthunter".
We are aiming to produce "Moth" early next year and are currently raising finance. For the latest updates on how the project is progressing click here.
Feature Progress
Development continues on our various feature films. Writer Richard Ahsam has just finished the first draft of our British comedy Thatchers Daughter and research is uncovering more and more fascinating facts about the life of "Dr. William H. Bates". We hope to attach a writer to this project soon.Ghosthunter Seminars
We will be screening Ghosthunter and talking about the making of it at the Westcliff Film and Video Club on October 21st. We have also been asked to participate in a screening and talk for Rocliffe, a London Writers Forum (date TBA).
L.A. Trip
We had an excellent trip to Los Angeles in April. We met many people out there including the producer of "Fight Club" and the writer of "Waterworld" and got a real taste of how Hollywood works. We look forward to returning there in the not too distant future.
Website Music & Online Shop
We've just updated our website and we have now added some original music to the site. The music covers the intro and was composed by leading composer Stephen Keeling. Stephen has written many musicals for the West End, including "La Cava" and "Maddie".
Also remember that you can order our book "How to Make Great Short Feature Films - The Making Of Ghosthunter" and many of our favourite books, DVDs and software directly from our website link to amazon.co.uk. Just click here to go directly to our online shop.
Thanks for your continuing interest in Amulet Films.
Very best wishes,
Alison & Simon

Welcome to our latest newsletter. We hope you enjoy hearing all our current news.
2 new projects
Over the last few months we have been working hard to expand our development slate of feature films. We are delighted to have added 2 new projects; "Thatcher's Daughter", a British comedy by Richard Ahsam, and "Dr. William H. Bates" a period biopic. They both fit our criteria of films that feature strong characters and stories with positive and uplifting themes. You can read about them, and our other projects "An Ordinary God", "Aviator" and "The Green Children" in more detail on our website www.amuletfilms.com on the 'Current Projects' and 'In Development' sections.
Fantasy Filmfest 2002
"Ghosthunter" has been accepted into the Fantasy Filmfest 2002 in Germany, the 16th International Festival for Science Fiction, Horror and Thriller. The festival runs between July 24 - August 21 and tours between Munich, Stuttgart, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Berlin. "Ghosthunter" is one of only ten shorts which is selected for this festival, and we are delighted to be a part of it.
L.A. trip
For the next 16 days we will be away on our first trip to Los Angeles. We have several meetings set up and we intend to start promoting our feature projects and making new contacts.
That's it for now. Very best wishes,
Alison & Simon
