    Dear All,

Welcome to our new look newsletter and a big hello to all those who have recently joined our e-mailing list.

    Feature Developments

We've been working hard since we last e-mailed you on various different projects. Firstly, our proposed first feature film "An Ordinary God" (working title) is developing extremely well. The story is about a mysterious old man, George Gardner, who (literally) crashes into the lives of the Young family one dark and stormy night. With no memory of who, or what, he is, George has a remarkable effect on the family, particularly Jean Young, a dying, lonely woman. It's a touching and charming story about life and love, and an extraordinary man. The feedback on the script so far has been very positive, and Clifton Stewart the writer continues to impress us with the quality of his writing. We will start looking for finance shortly and intend to make a trip out to Los Angeles in the New Year. Watch this space. We have also been extending our script and concepts database and have found some promising new ideas and material. We will continue to develop our slate so that we have a diverse and stimulating selection of quality films to offer.

    Ghosthunter

Our short feature "Ghosthunter" will be screened at 6pm on 22nd October at The Filmworks, Manchester as part of KINOFILM 2001, the 6th Manchester International Short Film Festival. All are welcome to come and see the screening and ticket details and festival brochures are available from Kinofilm on 0161 288 2494. We are also pleased to announce that "Ghosthunter" has been sold to Universal Spain, a terrestrial TV company for Spain and Andorra. Remember that our book and DVD "How To Make Great Short Feature Films - The Making Of Ghosthunter" is now widely available from all good bookshops and internet book sites. It has been selling well and we have received e-mails from readers as far away as America, Australia, Mexico and Canada.

You can check it out on www.amuletfilms.com Please note that we intend to discontinue the amulet-films address in favour of amuletfilms (no hyphen) over the next six months. Please amend your bookmarks and address books to reflect this. We hope you like our new site and we look forward to hearing your comments on it.

That's it for now. Do feel free to contact us about any of the above; we always enjoy reading your e-mails.
